Bariatric surgery is a tool to help people achieve sustained weight loss. After surgery, patients are faced with a new and unfamiliar set of daily issues relating to diet, exercise, relationships and other aspects of their life -- and they may want help and support from other bariatric patients to address these challenges.

The Bariatric Support Group is for patients, family members, and friends of those who have undergone bariatric surgery or who are seriously considering a gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, or gastric band.

Bariatric patients and others from Maryland, Pennsylvania and beyond come to the Bariatric Support Group, held the first and third Mondays of each month at Saint Agnes Hospital. Please stop at the Information Desk for room location. All meetings are scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
